Lightest Double Stroller
If you're looking for a light double stroller weight and fold dimensions are important factors to consider. Choosing one that's easy to handle and compact when not in use makes it easier to fit into the trunk of your car and maneuver through airport gates and foreign streets.
The most lightweight strollers have a simple, easy fold that lets them stand on their own. This eases the burden on the body of the parent. Many strollers have different seating options, and some can accommodate infant car seats.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for the family on the go. Compact and light weight, it has the ability to fold in one hand. The front suspension and all-terrain wheels as well as the multi-position reclining seats, allow for children to weigh up 50 pounds. Parent and child trays, large storage basket and 3-tier extended canopy with windows that peek out to maximize sun protection.
The Cloud received one of the lowest marks in our tests of quality because it has a thin seat, made of hard plastic, and a design that is dated. It's also costly compared to other strollers with lighter weights, so it's not the best choice when you're looking for a low-cost option.
Although it's not the lightest double stroller, it has enough features to be worth considering. The swiveling wheels make it easy for you to navigate it on flat surfaces. It can also jump curbs with ease. The low handle of the Cloud is a problem but it's at knee height, and not adjustable. It's not a comfortable thing to push your legs dangling in the air and it's not helping that it's not padded.
During testing, we found that the Cloud was easy to set up and opened. Close it is a little more difficult. You must slide the slider before you press the large white button. This can be frustrating especially if you're juggling kids while you do it.
The Cloud has a small but deep storage basket that can accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is a bit narrow, and you may need to leave something in there to reach the back. The Cloud comes with a child and parent tray with two cup holders however they're both too narrow to hold larger bottles or cups.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist style that's perfect for trips. It weighs only 18lbs and is lighter than other single strollers. and can fold flat for easy transport and storage. It also comes with independently reclined seats and large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors that have windows that peek out and extra-large under seat storage bags. The visors can be adjusted to fit kids of various heights. Additionally, it comes with a one step linked parking brake that is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also fantastic for maneuvering over bumps and uneven surfaces. However, this stroller doesn't accept car seats and therefore your children must be 6 months old and have good neck control in order to ride in the front seat. The stroller comes with three panels of sun canopy, and each seat comes with a cupholder and snack tray.
Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is a different incredibly light stroller with a side by side. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's narrower and slimmer (26.5 inches wide!) and is packed with luxurious features that make it perfect for travel. It is easy to fold and is very mobile. It fits easily in overhead compartments and trunks of planes.
Similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has a few key differences. It's also slightly more expensive, but it offers better maneuverability and has a larger sun canopy. It also comes with a handy carry strap that can hold children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
If you're looking for a stroller that is light in weight but also packed with features you'll find it in the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just light at only 13 pounds but also has a lot of storage space, including cup holders for the parent and child, a child's sippy-cup pouch and a parent's storage pouch, etc. It can also be used with a child's car seat and comes with a brake that is easy to engage that can be used flip-flop. It's designed to adapt to your kids from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months old and up.
This stroller only has swivel wheels and no locking feature and therefore may not be the best option for terrain that is steep or rocky. It maneuvers well on sidewalks that are paved and other smooth surfaces, though it's a great choice for most families.
This is among the smallest and light double strollers, with all-size features. It can be folded in one hand and put away in the trunk or garage. It can also be used an infant stroller and is compatible with most car seats without the need for additional adapters.
Contrary to the majority of lightweight strollers unlike other strollers that are lightweight, the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ has two separate seats that can accommodate up to 50 lbs. per seat (100 lbs total). The seats have a recline in multiple positions, individual leg rests, as well as 3-panel canopies that have flip-out sun visors and windows that peek out.
The seats are padded to ensure your child's safety. They also have a 5-point safety harness that can be adjusted to three different height positions. Each seat comes with a built-in infant cushion, which is perfect for babies. Parents will love the cup holders for parents and children, along with the child's cup holders, a cell phone holder, and large storage basket. The stroller comes with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.
Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 is an excellent option for parents looking for a stroller that is light and can hold two children. The sling-style seats are comfortable, and offer the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This allows children to sit together. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it offers a fully reclining seat, which makes it a fantastic choice for napping. Its recline mechanism is simple to operate, but it doesn't go completely flat. Children who are taller might find they have a leg that hangs out of the way when sitting in the reclined position. It also comes with a large canopy which we found to be superior in blocking out sun than some other options in our best double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to move through door frames which was a major problem for us with other strollers we tested. It folds up quickly, and its handlebars are close to the ground for easy carrying. The only issue is the small storage space. When full of toys for kids it feels cramped.
